Chris Arnold - Director
Chris has been involved in the finance industry
for the past 37 years having worked for First National
City Bank as a Senior Credit Analyst, and then with Alliance Acceptance
as a Lending Manager.
Chris established his own Finance Broking Business in 1978 under the name of Chris Arnold Finance Pty Limited - it was among one of the first Finance Broking Businesses to operate in the Newcastle and Hunter Valley regions.
Over the years Chris has been a partner in established offices in Tamworth, Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie and Sydney, this has given him a broad overview of the Finance Industry and an understanding of the challenges confronting small businesses in the many different regions throughout NSW.
Chris has been a member of the Lions movement for the past 36 years, filling many different senior rolls at Club Level and District Level. He has has a lifetime involvment with Australian Rules as a Player/Coach/Administrator and was the inaugral Chairman of the Black Diamond Australian Rules Football Association which controls the competition played form Singleton to the Central Coast.
If you have some spare time, Chris is always happy to talk to you about his other great interest in life, that being fishing. And if you are considering the purchase of a boat, he is always happy to carry out the initial inspection and sea trials as well as being able arrange the finance.

Brett Derwin - Director
Brett has been involved in the finance & real estate industry for over 20 years. In 1995 Brett established his own finance brokerage specialising in residential & commercial mortgage loans as well as business & equipment finance.
Brett is Vice President of the Hunter Business Chamber, a member of Newcastle City Council's Sport Advisory Panel and Newcastle's Australia Day Committee. Brett is immediate past President of Cooks Hill Surf Club and has had a 30 year association with Wanderers Rugby Club as a player, coach and administrator.

Garth Bryant - Director Garth has been involved in the Motor Vehicle & Equipment Finance Industry in Newcastle for over 20 years. For the majority of this time, Garth was the area Manager of the Motor Vehicle & Equipment Finance arm of AGC.
In November 2003 Garth established Maxilend Business Finance Pty Ltd concentrating on motor vehicle & plant equipment finance as well as Insurance Premium Funding.
His sporting associations include: Wanderers Rugby Club, Newcastle City & Merewether Cricket Clubs, Merewether Golf Club.

Jenene Potter - Equipment Finance Manager
Jenene's role as Equipment Finance Manager is a pivotal one at Newcastle Commercial Finance as she controls areas such as invoicing, documentation preparation, compliance, equipment & vehicle finance settlements, database management & general office workflow procedures.
Jenene recently completed a Bachelor of Business at Newcastle University.

Emily Harris - Customer Service Officer
Emily's role is pivotal as she focuses heavily on ensuring that our valued clients receive the highest possible level of customer service.
Responsibilities include provision of prompt payouts, loan statements, direct debit amendments, copies of agreements and general account enquiries.
In addition to this, Emily controls every aspect of the “front office” and is often the first point of contact with new & existing clients.

Darren Herbert
Darren has been working in the finance industry since 1995. His focus over the past 13 years has been commercial property finance, development finance and equipment finance. He has held the roles of Business Development Manager for AMP Property Finance and Associate Director for GE Commercial Ltd. Darren's most satisfying transactions over these years have included the re-structuring of small to medium size businesses. These re-structures have allowed his customers to improve their cash flow management and better utilize their business assets.
Darren has also been involved in a number of development projects in the Hunter Region which have ranged from residential unit projects up to 36 units to larger commercial/industrial projects.
His sporting highlight involved representing the NSW Country Cricket Team on three occasions. Darren is the current 1st grade captain of Hamilton-Wickham District Cricket Club and also enjoyed playing a couple of years of rugby with the mighty Merewether Carlton Club.
