Chris has been involved in the finance industry for the past 37 years having worked for First National City Bank as a Senior Credit Analyst, and then with Alliance Acceptance as a Lending Manager.

Chris established his own Finance Broking Business in 1978 under the name of Chris Arnold Finance Pty Limited - it was among one of the first Finance Broking Businesses to operate in the Newcastle and Hunter Valley regions.

Over the years Chris has been a partner in established offices in Tamworth, Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie and Sydney, this has given him a broad overview of the Finance Industry and an understanding of the challenges confronting small businesses in the many different regions throughout NSW.

Chris has been a member of the Lions movement for the past 36 years, filling many different senior rolls at Club Level and District Level. He has has a lifetime involvment with Australian Rules as a Player/Coach/Administrator and was the inaugral Chairman of the Black Diamond Australian Rules Football Association which controls the competition played form Singleton to the Central Coast.

If you have some spare time, Chris is always happy to talk to you about his other great interest in life, that being fishing. And if you are considering the purchase of a boat, he is always happy to carry out the initial inspection and sea trials as well as being able arrange the finance.

Garth commenced in the Banking & Finance industry over 25 years ago initially working in a variety of roles with Westpac/AGC Group predominantly in the Relationship Management and Sales & Marketing areas until October 2003 when he established his own Finance Brokerage called Maxilend Business Finance Pty Limited.

On the back of rapid success with this venture Garth quickly realised that to increase & sustain strong business growth levels as well as deliver and maintain the highest level of service standards then more resources & support services had to be implemented into the operation.

In July 2004 Maxilend merged with several other local finance brokerages to form Newcastle Commercial Finance Pty Limited. This has proven to be a master stroke as NCF has quickly become one the largest regional finance brokerages in NSW providing a full range of Business & Consumer lending facilities and has Premium Accreditation with all major Banks and Finance Companies.

Darren has been working in the finance industry since 1995. His focus over the past 13 years has been commercial property finance, development finance and equipment finance. He has held the roles of Business Development Manager for AMP Property Finance and Associate Director for GE Commercial Ltd. Darren's most satisfying transactions over these years have included the re-structuring of small to medium size businesses. These re-structures have allowed his customers to improve their cash flow management and better utilize their business assets.

Darren has also been involved in a number of development projects in the Hunter Region which have ranged from residential unit projects up to 36 units to larger commercial/industrial projects.

His sporting highlight involved representing the NSW Country Cricket Team on three occasions. Darren is the current 1st grade captain of Hamilton-Wickham District Cricket Club and also enjoyed playing a couple of years of rugby with the mighty Merewether Carlton Club.

Jane controls the 'front & back office' of Newcastle Commercial Finance. Jane has been with the company since January 2011 & oversees all matters involving accounts payable, accounts receivable, human resources & financial control.

Jane has an extensive background in accounting/MYOB & Administration Management.

Emily has been with Newcastle Commercial Finance since August 2007 & has recently been promoted to the role of Equipment Finance Manager.

Emily's responsibilities include documentation preperation, settlements, database management & overseeing the customer service division.

Emily has successfully completed a Diploma in Business Administration at Newcastle Tafe.

Paul has worked in the Finance & Transport Industries for the past 20 years. Paul's background is in Business Banking combined with a 5 year position at a Senior level with a large Hunter Valley based Transport Company. Specializing in Agribusiness Lending, Logistics and Fleet Finance, Paul is the heart and soul of the Hunter New England Finance team.

Paul owns and operates a small rural holding in Singleton NSW and is strategically placed to meet the needs of an ever increasing client base throughout the Hunter, New England and North West.
